  • ezpz Mini Cup + Straw Training System (sage) Learning to drink from a straw is an important developmental milestone that develops lip rounding and promotes speech development. This Training System teaches toddlers to drink from an open cup & safely learn to use a straw. When these first hit the market they couldn’t keep them in stock because they kept selling out.
  • Copper Pearl Bandana Bibs (Bliss) I have a set of the sold out Bliss Bandana Bibs. No one does soft, beautiful products quite like Copper Pearl. They are also running their Fall Sale now and some items are 80% off!
  • Nest Dry Baby Wipes – I have a little sample pack of these amazing little wipes. They are 100% biodegradable cotton and can be used at mealtime, bath time, household cleaning, as liners for cloth diapers and more. Simply wet with water (or with your own gentle concoction) and wipe away! I love them because most wipes are made with synthetic materials (even the water ones) so they aren’t as kind to the environment. (If you check out Nest or Petite Revery, use the code PC10 to get 10% off.)
  • Can You Find My Robot’s Arm – One morning, a robot wakes up to find he is missing an arm. He and his robo buddy search inside and outside the house, through a garden, an amusement park, a library and even a candy shop, but it’s nowhere to be found. Where can the arm be, and what might make a suitable replacement? A lollipop? A fish bone? How about a fork? This book is lovely with beautiful graphic illustrations.

What’s in the box:

  • Skillmatics Educational Game: Search and Find Search & Find has 12 repeatable activities that help children to build their vocabulary while discovering amazing new places. This looks like so much fun. I would keep these in mind if you need a birthday or holiday gift for a kid 3 – 6 years old because it’s a good size, it’s a decent price (around $25) and it has lots of colorful fun kids would like without being a pain for their parents.
  • Skillmatics Card Game: Guess in 10 Junior Animal Kingdom Use the Guider Tiles to ask up to 10 questions to guess the animal on the game card. Where does the animal live? Does the animal have 4 legs? What does the animal eat? (I nearly kept this for myself. 😂)
  • Loulou Lollipop Born To Be Wild Kids spoon and fork set (alligator) The non-slip and ergonomic silicone handles allow your toddler to grasp the spoon and fork to encourage self-feeding confidently. Made of buttery smooth premium food-safe silicone and SS304 stainless steel, this set is available in their exclusive animal characters.
  • Minted Pencil Case (Dinogami) This little case is perfect for keeping your favorite pens, pencils, and art supplies organized. The exterior is made of heavyweight, water-repellent canvas and features fun, unique patterns sourced from Minted’s community of independent artists. The interior features a black lining (in case of accidental ink stains!), with a suede-leather zipper pull. They even make a matching small backpack.
  • Little Bellies Baby Bellies Organic Apple & Cinnamon Puffs Deliciously crisp organic corn snacks sprinkled with apple & cinnamon that melt in the mouth for safe self-feeding. I tried a bag to see what they were like and they were delicious. Like apple cinnamon cheesies without the cheese. They aren’t too sweet at all and I bet kids would LOVE them.

What’s in the box:

  • HALO Ideal Temp Sleep Sack (Navy / Newborn) This best-selling sleepsack is the only swaddle that helps regulate your baby’s temperature. The smart textile absorbs heat, stores it, and then releases it back to your baby, maintaining an ideal temperature and avoiding temperature spikes (that often lead to wakeups). HALO’s signature 3-way swaddle design easily adjusts to fit your baby’s sleep style: arms in, hands-to-face, or one or both arms out. Includes an inverted zipper for easy diaper changes, as well as scratch-free zipper covers.
  • Pregnant Chicken Countdown to Baby Prep Kit This kit is a series of checklists broken down into each task to get you ready to welcome a new baby into your life. The kit is 30 pages and all lists and checklists – no journal, no filler, and no random graphics that use extra paper.
As one reader said, “It’s one of the best, if not the best, of the guides I’ve seen over the past few months. It is comprehensive but flexible so it reduces anxiety and the feeling that we need to do everything. Some of the other ones we’ve seen have made it seem like everything is a top priority, and it’s quite difficult to hone in on what’s actually important.”
  • Skip Hop Penguin Wobble Toy With soft texture and sweet chime sounds, this cute animal friend is fun for little ones to explore at playtime. Just push him over and watch him waddle and wobble back up (then do it all over again)!
  • Cat and Nat’s Mom Secrets: Coffee-Fueled Confessions from the Mom Trenches Two of my favourite (extra ‘u’ for us!) Canadians, Cat & Nat, wrote another book. This time they go deeper than ever before with outrageous revelations and relatable stories that let every mom know she’s not alone.
  • A Parade of Elephants (Hardcover) Up and down, over and under, through and around . . . five big and brightly colored elephants are on a mission in this picture book for young children by Caldecott Medalist Kevin Henkes. Where are they going? What will they do when they get there? It’s a surprise!

  • ezpz First Foods Set (sage) This set is one of my go-to baby shower gifts. Provides the developmental tools you need for baby’s first foods / drinks and is made from 100% Silicone. These aren’t your average food sets – everything is made with great care with the help of pediatric feeding experts. The mat fits all highchair trays, including the Stokke Tripp Trapp and Boon Flair
  • Pregnant Chicken Stroller Tag (Attack Baby) A few years ago (pre-pandemic) I made some stroller tag printables. They were so popular that I decided to make them into actual tags so they would survive rain, snow and dirty strangers. This is the most popular one so far but I’m set up on Etsy and Shopify if you want to check out the whole line.
  • A Modern Parents’ Guide to Nursery Rhymes This is a really nice book that gives a quick little snippet about where each rhyme came from and how you ‘perform’ these timeless classics and beyond. It features more than 70 poems, lullabies, rounds, and riddles, from classics like “Hey Diddle Diddle,” to newer songs like “The Wheels on the Bus,” too wonderful non-English versus including “Pío, Pío, Pío,” the sweet yet dramatic Chilean ditty about chickens. Plus, exactly how to perform the intricate finger ballet known as “Itsy Bitsy Spider.” Includes downloadable recordings.
  • MAM Comfort Baby Pacifier (green) These pacifiers are 36% lighter than competitive one-piece silicone pacifiers and they are specially designed to help your newborn keep the pacifier in their mouth.

June 2022 Swag Box

What’s in the box:

  • Ergobaby Embrace (blue) This newborn carrier is made with super soft fabric and has a snug and supportive fit. It can fit many people (from petite to plus) and can hold a baby 7-25lbs. It’s a lovely carrier for that teeny stage where a regular carrier can swallow a newborn and it’s incredibly easy to use.
  • There Are Moms Way Worse Than You: Irrefutable Proof That You Are Indeed a Fantastic Parent This book is hysterical. It’s a great gift for a human mom and, frankly, I’d read this as a bedtime story so kids have a better appreciation for just how good they have it.
  • Carolyn Draws Vinyl Sticker This site has the best cards, pins, notepads, etc. I went to art college with the designer, Carolyn. That is her handwriting on all the designs. Her natural handwriting! I forgive her freakish skills because she helped me get my first job and I love her dogs, Larry and Dave.
  • Green Sprouts Sip & Straw Pocket This is from the new Sprout Ware line which is made from plant-plastic and 100% LFGB, platinum cured silicone. There is no PVC, BPA, BPS, BPF, BFDGE, NOGE or BADGE additives. That’s a lot of letters to say it’s a pretty impressive alternative to traditional petro-plastics. This 8 oz pouch comes with a sippy but is compatible with most wide-neck breast pumps and bottle brands.
  • Green Sprouts Slow Flow Nipples These fit on any of the pouches and have a wide accordion base for increased flexibility to mimic the breast more closely. They also have an off-center nipple orientation to allow for a more natural feeding position.
  • Green Sprouts Food Spouts These dishwasher safe food spouts allow for a free flow of purees, yogurts, and other introductory foods. The top of the spout seals against the travel cap to avoid leaking or spills.
  • Green Sprouts Storage Pockets You can use these storage pouches to directly pump & store breast milk, as bottle or food pouch for eating purees, or use them as a water bottle as your kiddo grows.
